Separate washable parts

Removable covers and liners simplify cleaning.

Dry thoroughly

Damp fabric, webbing or foam can develop odours and degrade.

Inspect during cleaning

Loose stitching, cracked plastic, corrosion and damaged fasteners are easier to notice when the product is clean.

Replace when structure fails

Cleaning cannot restore a broken buckle, cracked carrier or unsafe toy.

General product-selection information only. A pet's health, anatomy, mobility, breathing and behaviour can change what equipment is appropriate. Follow product directions and ask a veterinarian or qualified animal-care professional when those issues matter.
